Adjusting Wiper Arm Angle of Incidence

Preliminary work for wiper arm angle of incidence

The wiper arm angle of incidence must be checked and adjusted if the following types of complaints are received from customers: wipers are
rubbing or 'spluttering', noises are made when the wiper is wiping the windscreen or wiper area is uneven

It is important that the wiper blades are checked for wear and the front window is free from soiling.

1. Check the condition of the front window, clean it if it is soiled.
2. Remove the wiper blade.
3. Check the condition of the wiper blade and replace it if necessary.

Tools Overview

Information:  Wiper system must be in parking position. Before the wiper system starts working, allow splash water to operate two or three times.

Caution:  Unexpected activation of wiper system when wiper arms are handled. Risk of squashing by the wiper arms.

Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.

Screw Adapter Onto Wiper Arm

1. Position adapter -B- for the sports car flush on the wiper arm and tighten using the knurled screw.
