2. Pull off protective film and stick on insulation for top of rear wall -2- in the marked area.
3. Heat up insulation for rear wall at the bottom -1- and top -2- using a Leister Elektron hot-air gun and press on securely using a rubber roller.

Installing sound absorber for firewall lid

NOTE:  The fastening points must remain accessible when positioning the sound absorbers (insulation).

1. Pull off protective film and stick insulation for firewall lid -1- to the firewall lid -2-.

Preliminary work

1. Remove accessories close to the sound absorber (insulation).

NOTE:  The sound absorbers (insulation) must always be replaced if they are damaged or cracked.

2. Remove sound absorber (insulation).
3. Remove all adhesive residue on the body/accessories and clean with cleaning solution.
