Removing and installing parking-brake lever

Preliminary work for removing parking-brake lever

Remove center console.

Removing parking-brake lever 

The parking-brake lever -1- is supplied as a spare part, complete with bracket, cover -2- and switch -3- (for warning light indicating that the parking
brake is on).

Parking-brake lever

1. Disengage parking-brake cable -5- at the parking-brake lever. This releases the parking-brake lever -1-.

Pull off plug on switch -3-.

2. Remove parking-brake lever and mounting saddle assembly -1- after first removing the fastening nuts -4-.
