Valve Cover: Service and Repair
Removing and installing cylinder head cover - engine removed
Preliminary work
1. Remove engine.
2. Remove rear muffler.
3. Remove exhaust manifolds. Unscrew nine M8 x 21 screws on each and remove manifold and seal.
4. Remove holder for rear muffler.
4.1.
Unscrew four M8 x 20 Torx(R) screws and remove holder.
5. Remove heat shield for ignition coils.
6. Remove ignition coils. In each case, unscrew two inner Torx(R) (T30) countersunk screws (M6 x 16) and pull the ignition coils out of the
spark-plug recess.

Clean or replace dirty components.
1. Unscrew 20 inner Torx(R) (T30) countersunk screws (M6 x 25) in each case and remove cover.
