Tightening torque: 40 Nm (30 ftlb.)

3. Install suction tube and oil deflector (watertight sheetmetal panel).
3.1.

Fit oil deflector with new O-rings and secure in place with an outer Torx(R) screw (E10) M6 x 20.

3.2.

Fit suction tube with a new O-ring on the oil pump and secure with an inner Torx(R) screw (T30) M6 x 25.

Tightening torque: 13 Nm (9.5 ftlb.)

4. Install air/oil separator.
4.1.

Fit line with a new O-ring in vertical position into the oil pump and then turn it towards the upper part of the oil pan until the separator is
positioned (horizontally) at the screw points.

4.2.

Fit and tighten five outer Torx(R) screws (E10) M6 x 20. Also tighten one outer Torx(R) screw for the oil deflector.

Tightening torque: 13 Nm (9.5 ftlb.)

5. Fit oil pressure pipe.
5.1.

Place new O-ring on the oil pump. Attach pressure pipe with new O-ring to the crankcase and fit it on the oil pump.

5.2.

Fit and tighten three outer Torx(R) screws (E10) M6 x 16.
