Radiator Cooling Fan Motor: Service Precautions

Engine Compartment And Coolant Blower Fan:

The radiator and radiator fans are in the front of the car.

The engine-compartment blower is mounted on the engine compartment lid.

WARNING.

Risk of injury. The engine_compartment blower always runs when the ignition is switched on. After the engine is switched off, the
engine-compartment and coolant temperatures are monitored for about 20 minutes.

During this period, and depending on temperature, the fans may continue to run or start to run.

The fans may start without warning and can cause serious personal injury.
