2. Placing the eyelet on the tension cable and measuring the total length

a. Push the eyelet fully on to the end of the tension cable.
b. Measure the total length of the tension cable from centre of eyelet to centre of eyelet with a tape measure -dimension X = 845 mm-.

3. Pressing the tension cable and the eyelet together

CAUTION:

Damage to eyelet

Press together the eyelet with the hydraulic stamp press so that the eyelet is only pressed in 1/4 of the diameter.

If pressed together too strongly, the eyelet will crack.

Using a commercially available hydraulic stamp press, press the eyelet -5- together with the tension cable -6-.

4. Installing the convertible-top covering

a. Install the convertible-top covering.
