Sliding roof emergency operation mechanism

INFORMATION:

If the emergency operation on the glass sliding roof is implemented, make sure that the glass sliding roof is closed completely. If the glass sliding
roof is in an open status, e.g. shortly before being closed, a malfunction may occur on the Targa roof.

If an emergency release has been carried out on the rear lid (e.g. to make the emergency operation easier), the glass sliding roof must be closed
completely. With the Porsche System Tester, select the following: Vehicle type - 996; Targa roof; Drive links; Test step - Unlocking Targa flap.
Select the test step; the microswitch for the closing aid is then reset. In unfavourable circumstances, it may be necessary to repeat this test step.
