The necessary EMERGENCY STOP switch is installed depending on the additional equipment present:

EMERGENCY STOP switch in the centre console M 581.

EMERGENCY STOP switch - without centre console M 581 - in front of shift lever.

1. Carefully unclip the cover trims with the EMERGENCY STOP switch upwards with a suitable tool (e.g. screwdriver;  plastic spatula).

2. Disconnect the 3-pin plug connection connected to the EMERGENCY STOP switch from the wiring harness by pushing and pulling. Insert the

wiring harness which is marked with a white identification tape -A- into the shaft in the centre console. Clip the standard cover -without
EMERGENCY STOP switch- into place.
