Changing Transmission Oil In Final Drive

Changing transmission oil in final drive 

Note!

Use only oils approved by Porsche. 

Filling capacity: 1.2 liters 

1. Unscrew oil filler plug -A-. 

2. Unscrew oil drain plug -arrow-. Drain oil with vehicle standing horizontally.
3. Clean the drain plug and filler plug.
4. Replace sealing rings for the drain plug and filler plug.

Note!

Attach the special tool as high as possible on the vehicle.

5. Fill in oil with special tool V.A.G 1924 up to the lower edge of the oil filler opening.
6. Screw in and tighten the filler plug and drain plug.

Filler plug tightening torque: 22 Nm (16 ft. lbs.) 
Drain plug tightening torque: 25 Nm (19 ft. lbs.)
