Removal
Information

The shift and selector cables must not be excessively bent or kinked.
1. Remove centre console (refer to Service No. 68 17 19).
2. Move shift lever to neutral position and fix shift lever with special tool 9619 .
3. Remove shift console cover.
4. Disengage the selector and shift cables on the shift console. To do this, slide the locking sleeves (6) forward as far as they will go and turn clockwise
to removal position.
