Open circuit in the rain sensor connection (emergency interval operation)

NOTE:  The rain sensor control module independently detects a faulty rain sensor. Fixed intervals are allocated to six sensitivity stages (wiping interval
stages) as a remedial measure.

1. Ignition on and activate rain sensor.
2. If the windscreen wiper switches on intermittently, the rain sensor or the wiring must be checked and replaced if necessary.
