Adjustment dimensions of rear retaining strip

INFORMATION:

To reduce adjustment work to a minimum when fitting the rear apron, the rear bumper and rear retaining strip must be aligned with the lower edge
of the rear lid according to the dimensions shown.

However, the precondition for precise positioning of the components is that the rear lid is optimally adjusted and correctly locked in the lock in
accordance with the joining plan, before the rear bumper and rear retaining strip are fitted.

All measurements refer to the position V = 280 mm.

1. Adjust the rear lid according to the joining plan. Refer to Diagram - body gap dimensions.

2. Adjust rear retaining strip -1- with respect to the rear bumper -2, 2A- to the dimension -X-. Adjustment value: 173 mm. Dimensions can be

changed by loosening the rear retaining strip. Dimension -Y-. Adjustment value: 171 mm

Subsequent work

Install the rear apron. Refer to Removing and installing rear apron.
