Eliminating Symptoms In Body Interior - Reworking Cup Holder

Symptom

Cup holder malfunction.

Causes and remedial action

Misuse of the flap on the cup holder can cause malfunctions.

In the event of a complaint, check to see why the cup holder is not working properly and replace the defective flap.

997.552.905.00  Repair kit for cup holder (flap/torsion spring)

Reworking cup holder

1. Remove defective flap. Refer to Disassembling and assembling cup holder.
2. Install new flap with a torsion spring. Refer to Disassembling and assembling cup holder.
