4. Loosen the fastening screw -1- on the microswitch.

5. If the mount is at the front, shift the microswitch in direction -A-. If the mount is at the rear, shift the microswitch in direction -B-.
6. Insert the fastening screw -1-, open the sunroof and close it again.
7. Check the position of the mount and the glass cover and adjust it again if necessary.
8. Tighten fastening screw -1-. Tightening torque: 3 Nm (2.0 ftlb.)

Subsequent work

Subsequent work for motor for sunroof

1. Position rear-wall lining and push it on in -direction of arrow- until the pegs of the cover clip in.

Sunroof emergency operation

INFORMATION:

If the emergency operation on the glass sunroof is enabled, make sure that the glass sunroof is closed completely. If the glass sunroof is open, e.g.
shortly before being closed, a malfunction may occur on the Targa roof.

If an emergency release has been carried out on the rear lid (e.g. to make the emergency operation easier), the glass sunroof must be closed
completely. Use the PIWIS Tester 9718 to select the following chapters: Vehicle type -997; Targa roof; Drive links; Test step - Unlocking Targa
flap. Select the test step. The microswitch for the closing aid is then reset. In unfavourable circumstances, it may be necessary to repeat this test
step.

1. Hold the rear cover underneath at the sides and carefully pull it out of the clips in -direction of arrow-.
