Removing And Installing Dryer (fluid Tank)

Technical values

Preliminary work

Preliminary work for dryer

1. Remove cover on left for plenum chamber.
2. Drain refrigerant for air-conditioning system with one air-conditioning unit.

General warning notes

General safety regulations for work on the air-conditioning systems.

CAUTION:  Danger of injury when working on air-conditioned vehicles.

Observe safety regulations for working on air-conditioned vehicles and dealing with refrigerant R134a.

Observe safety regulations for working with extraction and filling systems.

Observe instructions for repairing air-conditioning systems and storing spare parts.

Tools and materials

Tools for air-conditioning compressor

Air-conditioning service unit, refer to Special Tools, Commercially Available Tools, Chapter 2.4, No. 96-2)

Removing dryer (fluid tank)

The desiccator (fluid tank) is located under the left plenum chamber cover.
