Distributor Alignment

Cylinder #1 TDC

1.

Set crankshaft to #1 cylinder firing TDC.  The TDC mark on the belt pulley must line up with the separating joint at the crankcase and the line
mark on the fan housing.

2.

Turn distributor shaft with the rotor fitted until the middle of the rotor lines up with the notch mark in the housing.

3.

Refit distributor in this position.
