General Information: 

The venting of the brake fluid reservoir is now done through the reservoir cap. The vent hose from the reservoir to the wheel well, the non-vented
reservoir cap, and the vented reservoir have been deleted and are no longer available as spare parts. This change has been as of production date October
4, 1995 from VINs:

991 TS 320564 COUPE
997 TS 340469 CABRIO
990 TS 385080 TARGA
99X TS 375640 TURBO

Cap Identification: 

The vented reservoir cap and non-vented reservoir cap can be identified as shown above.

Important: 

BRAKE FLUID RESERVOIRS WITHOUT A VENTING HOSE OR RESERVOIRS WITH A CLOSED VENT HOSE CONNECTION MUST
HAVE A VENTED RESERVOIR CAP.
