Multi-grade oils are identified by both viscosity specifications. For example: SAE 0W-40 or 5W-40 or 5W-50.
Examples:
0W-40 and 5W-40 oils have the same viscosity at high temperatures. However, at low temperatures, the 5W oil is more viscous.
5W-40 and 5W-SO have the same viscosity at low temperatures, but at higher temperatures, the oil with viscosity class 40 is less viscous.

Miscibility:
The engine oils approved by Porsche can be mixed with each other. This means that it is not necessary to flush the engine when the oil is changed if
another type of oil is used. However, since every brand of oil has a specially adapted unique composition, the same oil should be used for topping up
between oil change intervals if possible.
