Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.

INFORMATION:  On "newer" power window motors, the wire harness from the door wiring harness is clipped in on the power window motor.

Use a screwdriver to unclip the wire harness from the clip above the power window motor.

A new connector concept is used on newer power window motors. Procedure:

Release (pull out) the red lock on the connector using a screwdriver.

Release the locking lug underneath and pull the connector off the power window motor.

2. Unlock electric connector -a- and disconnect from power window motor.

3. Unscrew the three fastening screws -1-.

4. Pull the power window motor out of the teeth.

Installing power window motor

INFORMATION:  On "newer" power window motors, the wire harness from the door wiring harness is clipped in on the power window motor.

Clip in wire harness on the power window motor.

1. Position power window motor and push into the teeth.
2. Screw in the three fastening screws. Tightening torque: 3 Nm (2 ftlb.)

3. Press in electric connector on power window motor until it engages securely.
