Adjusting Hinge For Hood Compartment Lid

Technical values

Preliminary work

1. Loosen drive for hood compartment lid at the left and right and set aside. Refer to Removing and installing transmission for hood compartment lid

drive.

2. Remove additional flap at the left and right. Refer to Removing and installing additional flap.

INFORMATION:  Two people are needed to adjust the hinges for the hood compartment lid.

1. Close hood.

1.1. Switch on ignition.
1.2. Close hood -1- carefully -arrow- until the hood lock -2- is positioned against the upper cowl panel frame.
1.3. Switch off ignition.

2. Carefully fold rear hood (rear window) upwards -arrows-.

3. Pull off seal for hood compartment lid -1- at the left and right in the front area -arrows-.
