Removing And Installing Latch At Front

Technical values

Preliminary work

1. Remove interior light. Refer to Removing and installing bulb for interior light.
2. Remove operator control unit for garage door opener. Refer to Removing and installing operator control unit for garage door opener.

Removing latch at front

Removing front lock

1. Release the two fastening screws -1- and pull the front lock -2- down and off -arrow- from the windscreen frame.

2. Push up the electric connecting lines for the interior light and the control units for garage door opener through the assembly openings on the front

lock.

3. Release connector -1- -Arrow A- and remove from roof microswitch -2- -Arrow B-.
