Component overview of coolant pump - distributor housing

3. Remove and dispose of seal.
3.1.

Clean sealing faces on coolant pump and distributor housing with solvent naphtha or acetone. Remove any residual sealant with an emery cloth
and then clean all grease off the components.

Installing coolant pump

1. Replace seal for coolant pump -3-.

2. Install coolant pump.
2.1.

Fit coolant pump -1- with a new seal into the distributor housing.

2.2.

Position drive belt guard -3- and screw in and tighten screws -2-.

Tightening torque: 10 Nm (7.5 ftlb.)

2.3.

Fit coolant hose.
