3. Release and unplug electric connector -a-.

4. Pull the servo motor out further until the actuating lever -A- can be disengaged.
5. Remove servo motor.

Installing footwell/defrost servo motor

1. Position servo motor and engage actuating lever on the servo motor.

2. Connect electric connector to servo motor until the connector is felt to engage.

3. Position servo motor on heater/air-conditioning unit and tighten with fastening screws -1-. - Tightening torque: 1.2 Nm (1.0 ftlb.) ±0.5 Nm (±0.5

ftlb.)

4. Switch on ignition and check function of servo motor by adjusting the air conditioning control.
