Checking Oil Level
Checking engine oil level
Information
The engine oil level can only be checked with the display in the instrument cluster.
Any malfunctions in the oil level gauge show up via a warning in the instrument cluster.
Requirements for correct oil level measurement:
Vehicle is parked horizontally.
Engine is at operating temperature.
Engine is idling.
Starting measurement:
1. Start the engine and allow it to idle until the operating temperature is reached (oil temperature gauge shows approx. 90°C).
2. Press the lower operating lever at the left forward to display the menu.

3. Use the operating lever to select the menu item OIL.

Information
The waiting time for the oil level measurement is indicated by a countdown time display and cycling segments on the oil level gauge.
4. Start the measurement by pressing the operating lever forward.
