Check the axial play in this area -between the arrows- using a suitable measuring device. Use a feeler gauge or the special tool star gauge
Nr.127-1 Pos.1 for example.

Once you have checked the axial play (depending on the measured value), replace the relevant parts (Case 1 or Case 2).

Information about axial play

Depending on the design, there is generally approx. 3.2 mm of axial play -between the arrows- in the plug-in coupling.

If the plug-in coupling shows signs of wear, the axial play will be higher. The wear limit is 3.5 mm.

2. Depending on the amount of axial play on the plug-in coupling - up to 3.5 mm (case 1) or more than 3.5 mm (case 2), replace the following parts:

Removing retainer plate 7 (variant 1)

Case 1: Axial play less than wear limit (up to 3.5 mm)

Remove retainer plate -7- on variant 1.

Install rubber ring -3-, holder -1- with internal Torx screw T40 -2- and spring band clamp -4- (for securing pressure hose -6-).

Do not re-install previously fitted lock on plug-in coupling (in variant 1)!
