1. Observe precautionary measures when working with lambda sensors.

2. Disconnect cable plug for the lambda sensor lines.

Pull connector -2, 6- for the lambda sensors with the blue boot on the right and left out of the bracket -3, 4- and disconnect plug connection.

INFORMATION:  Always expose oxygen sensor wire far enough for it to be able to turn when unscrewing the sensor.

3. Expose the lambda sensor wire.

3.1. Expose the lambda sensor wire on cylinder bank 4-6.

Unclip lambda sensor wire -2- with the blue boot out of the brackets -3, 4, 5-.

3.2. Expose the lambda sensor wire on cylinder bank 1-3.

Unclip lambda sensor wire -2- with the blue boot out of the brackets -3, 4, and 5-.

4. Remove lambda sensors upstream of catalytic converter.
