2. Push motor for convertible top compartment lid together with potentiometer onto the bracket and screw tight with the fastening nuts -1-. -

Tightening torque: 10 Nm (7.5 ftlb.)

3. Plug in the electric plug connection for potentiometer -2- at control unit until the connector is felt to engage.
4. Plug in the electric plug connection for microswitch -5- and engage on the bracket.

Subsequent work

Subsequent work for relay carrier

Install carpet lining behind backrest.
Install subwoofer for BOSE sound system, I No. 680.

Subsequent work for relay carrier of cabriolet

1. Reinstall carpet over motor.
2. Move convertible top from service position.
