Disposal of airbag and belt tensioner units

INFORMATION:  Country-specific statutory regulations and legislation based on them which go beyond these instructions must always be observed
and take precedence over these instructions.

Airbag units are pyrotechnical items and can pose an environmental hazard.

For this reason, non-ignited airbag units or entire vehicles must not be disposed of as normal scrap, refuse in other final storage facilities.
