Control Arm: Service and Repair
Front Suspension
Removing and installing lower front-axle control arm
Preliminary work
1. Raise the vehicle.
2. Remove front wheel.
3. Remove front underbody panel.
Removing trailing arm
1. On the 911 Turbo, remove the spoiler at the diagonal arm (air guide for the brake cooling system) -1-.
Loosen trailing arm on wheel carrier -2-. Counter with a screwdriver 9546 while doing this. Then press off ball joint using press-out tool 9560.
To prevent damage to the rubber sleeves of the ball joint, coat the rubber sleeves and the press-out tool in this area with tire mounting paste.

2. Unscrew links for headlight beam adjustment (headlight height adjustment) -3- at the trailing arm (counter with an open-ended wrench). Left side
