Wheels with sensors for TPM
Before changing wheels (e.g. changing from summer to winter wheels), check that the wheels are compatible with the vehicle's tire pressure
monitoring (TPM) system.
The TPM system as of 2009 model (2nd generation TPM) is essentially different from the TPM system up to 2008 model (1st generation TPM).
1st generation TPM wheel electronics -A- are not compatible with 2nd generation TPM wheel electronics.
