Distributor Console
8. Remove distributor cap, distributor rotor, distributor protective cover, and distributor cap console.
9. Loosen balance shaft tensioning rollers and remove balance shaft drive belt.
10. Loosen timing belt tensioning roller and remove timing belt.
NOTE: Check condition of water pump prior to timing belt installation. Replace if necessary.
Installing Drive Belt
11. Install drive belt according to following procedures:
Place belt on sprocket of crankshaft (1), tensioning roller (2), water pump pulley (3) and camshaft sprocket (4), preloading belt slightly by
hand each time so that belt can be pushed on to camshaft sprocket
