Model year 1987 cars have a new EZK control unit, Part Number 928 618 124 11 and a new wiring harness, Part Number 928 607 015 04.
At model introduction control unit, Part Number 928 618 124 10 and wiring harness, Part Number 928 607 015 05 were installed. These parts are not
available as spare parts.
If it becomes necessary to replace one of these parts, the following modifications have to be made on the control unit wiring plug connection.
Replacing control unit:
Install guide clamp, Part Number 928 618 951 00, on new control unit.
Replacing wiring harness:
Remove locking device from wiring plug.
