All 924, 944, 968 Coupes

Concern:
Water can enter the rear area through the rear lid latch assembly.

Repair Procedure:
1.

Remove the lower latch assembly and clean any dirt or corrosion from the assembly.

2.

Apply a film of optimoly with a brush to the top side of the lock assembly (Arrow 2) and to the reinforcement plate (Arrow 1). Lubricate both
sides of the reinforcement plate.

3.

Reinstall the latch assembly and check for correct adjustment.
