Sunroof / Moonroof Gear Assembly: Service and Repair

Removing and Installing Gear in Element Guide 

Removing 

1.  Remove electric drive and installation kit.  See: Sunroof / Moonroof Motor/Service and Repair

2.  Unscrew mounting screws of element plate.

3.  Take off element plate and remove element from the element housing.

4.  Press gear out of the element housing from behind.
