Brake Master Cylinder: Service and Repair

1.

Place rags underneath master cylinder and on left wheel housing.

2.

Pull brake fluid tank out of master cylinder and catch escaping brake fluid.

3.

Place tank with connected clutch hose on wheel house.

4.

Disconnect brake lines at master cylinder.

5.

Remove master cylinder attaching nuts and the master cylinder.

6.

Reverse procedure to install, noting the following: 

a. Install new seal between master cylinder and brake booster and new plugs in the brake fluid tank.
b. Bleed brakes and clutch.
