Removing and Installing Camshaft Drive Belt

Note!

- Images shown may depict SOHC engine.  Belt routing and all relevant information is correct for DOHC applications.

- As of 1987 all DOHC engines have a mechanical tensioner that replaces the need for tensioning tool 9201.  Refer to "Timing Belt :

Adjustments".  See: Adjustments

 
REMOVING AND INSTALLING CAMSHAFT DRIVE BELT

Remove Ignition Distributor and Camshaft Housing front cover.    

Remove balance shaft belt.  See: Balance Shaft Belt/Service and Repair
