Antifreeze may cause plugging and corrosion of the cooling system if it is:

-too old (older than two years or 30,000 miles).

-extremely diluted (mixing ratio).

-

not conforming to Porsche specifications.

The coolant or antifreeze used in Porsche vehicles must always conform with the specifications published by Porsche. This information can be found in
the 1986 Technical Bulletin Group 1, Number 8629, titled "Corrosion in the Cooling System".
