8. Separate the plug connection for the ignition starter switch. Drill out the breakaway screws in the steering column housing and remove the housing.

Installation

1. Adjust the steering-lock housing, the spigot for the steering-wheel lock must engage easily. Tighten the breakaway screws but do not break off.

2. Adjust the steering column switch and mount the steering wheel briefly. There should be 2 - 4 mm play between the steering column switch and

the steering wheel.

3. Once a functional and visual inspection has been carried out on all relevant components, break off the breakaway screws.

4. Install panels and covers.

5. Center the steering in the middle position with Special Tool 9116 and mount the steering wheel ('ubricating the hub with Molykote A), with the

spokes horizontal.
