Axle Nut: Specifications

AXLE NUT TORQUE

Steel Trailing Arm:
Castle Nut*  .....................................................................................................................................................................  380 + 70 Nm. (281 + 52 Ft. Lbs.)

Aluminum Trailing Arm:
Lock Nut  ..........................................................................................................................................................................................  500 Nm. (370 Ft. Lbs.)

* Tighten to 380 Nm. (281 Ft. Lbs.) and turn further to next cotter pin hole.

*NOTE:  Do not unscrew castle nut to remove parking brake cable and parking break shoes.
