Shift Linkage: Adjustments

1.

Disconnect cable from transaxle lever.

2.

Place selector lever at P, then the transaxle lever in park position (push back against stop).

3.

Adjust ball socket on cable so that socket can be connected to lever without tension, connect cable and secure with new clip.

4.

Operate transaxle with selector lever in all positions, ensuring transaxle operation is consistent with lever position.

5.

Ensure that starter only engages with selector lever in N, or P, and that back-up lamps operate with selector lever in R.
