Disassembling And Assembling Rear Apron

Preliminary work

Remove the rear apron. Refer to Removing and installing rear apron.

Disassembling rear apron

1. Remove lower retaining strip -2-.

1.1. Drill out rivets -3- and pull off lower retaining strip -2-.

2. Remove buffers -4-, -5- (USA version only).

2.1. Insert a screwdriver laterally into the inner retaining frame -4-. Press in the lug and remove the buffer -5-.

3. Remove cover.

3.1.Remove the cover -6- for the towing lug. Cut through the securing cord.
