Removing convertible-top covering

INFORMATION:

-

The following convertible-top covering spare parts are required for replacement of the convertible-top covering.

-

The spare parts contained in the convertible-top covering scope of parts must always be replaced.

The convertible-top covering must be replaced at a room temperature of at least 15 degrees Celsius (59 Fahrenheit).

The roof liner must be removed when replacing the convertible-top covering on the model version with roof liner.

-

The centre cover moulding is characterised by a second groove for the connection to the roof liner which must be ordered separately.

1. Detaching retaining rail and convertible top seal on the roof frame

1.1. Unscrew the fastening screws -1- from the retaining rail -2- or the fastening screws from the left and right of the convertible-top seal -3-.
1.2. Pull out the convertible-top seal corners on the left and on the right to the front.

2. Detaching seal at sides of roof frame
