Preliminary work for car radio

Remove both covers on centre console.

Removing the car radio

Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.

1. Loosen the side fastening screws a few turns.

2. Insert an Allen key sideways into the screw connection of the radio latch hooks.

3. Close the latches (2 each side) with an Allen key -A- and carefully pull out the radio.
4. For reinstallation, open the latches with the Allen key -B-.

The number of plug connections will vary, depending on the I No. (CD changer, amplifier, etc.).

The variant without additional audio components (external Most control units) has a jumper (output to input) connected to the optical waveguide
plug.
