3. Screw on fastening nuts -2- and tighten to the specified tightening torque. Final tightening: 1 ftlb.

Installing heat protection cover

1. Insert heat protection cover -3-.

2. Screw on fastening screw -1- and tighten to tightening torque. Tightening torque: 1.5 ftlb.
3. Screw on fastening nuts -2- and tighten to the specified tightening torque. Tightening torque: 1 ftlb..

Subsequent work

Install rear wheel. Refer to Removing and reinstalling wheel.
