Preliminary work

In March 2008, Production introduced a modification to the hood covering.

-

In order to repair or replace the hood covering, the hood must be removed on vehicles that were manufactured on or after the specified date of
introduction.

Always replace the spare parts contained in the "convertible-top covering" scope of parts.

The convertible-top covering must be replaced at a room temperature of at least 15 degrees Celsius (59 Fahrenheit).

1. Remove hood. Refer to Removing and installing hood.
2. Fit roll-over bar on assembly fixture. Refer to Mounting roll-over bar on assembly fixture
3. Remove roof liner. Refer to Removing and installing roof liner.
