1. Place convertible-top peg mount -2- on windscreen frame from below -arrow-, position it correctly and screw down hand-tight using the fastening

screws -1-.

2. To prevent rattling noises, the two convertible-top peg mounts (left and right) must be facing outwards with respect to the centring pins fitted on

the convertible top or hardtop when tightening the screws. The convertible top must be closed or the hardtop must be fitted in order to check the
adjustment.

3. Tighten fastening screws -1-. Tightening torque Final tightening: 10 Nm (7.5 ftlb.)

Subsequent work

1. End service position. Refer to Convertible top service position.
2. Check gap dimensions for convertible top, adjust if necessary. Refer to Diagram - body gap dimensions.

INFORMATION:  Only for vehicles with hardtop.

3. Install hardtop. Refer to Removing and installing hardtop.

INFORMATION:  Only for vehicles with hardtop.

4. Adjust hardtop. Refer to Adjusting hardtop.

Subsequent work

INFORMATION:  Only for removing/installing or replacing convertible-top peg mount.

Install sun visor. Refer to Removing and installing sun visor.
