5. Secure ground point -5-.

5.1. Connect ground straps and screw down fastening nut. - Tightening torque: 9 Nm (6.5 ft. lbs.)

6. Push on connector for rear light at the left and right until it is felt to engage.

7. Push together plug connections for rear wire harness to main wire harness -2 and 3-.

7.1. Push connector sockets for rear wire harness onto relay carrier -arrows A- until they are felt to engage.
7.2. Push together plug connections for rear wire harness to main wire harness -arrows B- and lock until they are felt to engage.

8. Push together plug connection for rear wire harness to engine wire harness -1-.

8.1. Push connector socket for rear wire harness onto relay carrier -arrow A- until it is felt to engage.
8.2. Push together plug connection for rear wire harness to engine wire harness -arrow B- until it is felt to engage.

Subsequent work

1. Install rear spoiler.
2. Install rear lid-release motor.
3. Install relay carrier.
4. Install rear luggage-compartment lining.
5. Carry out work instruction after disconnecting the battery.
