Tighten screw -1- on combination wire.

Secure line for brake pad wear indicator on spring strut support.

Connect electric connectors for combination wire for ABS and brake pad wear indicator and lock using a safety clip.

--> Tightening torque: 10 Nm (7.5 ftlb.)

9. Engage the parking-brake cable at the parking-brake lever and adjust parking-brake shoes.

Engage the parking-brake cable at the parking-brake lever.

9.2.

Check parking brake adjustment.

Check basic setting of parking-brake shoes. The parking brake cannot be adjusted at the parking-brake cable since it is self-adjusting.

Subsequent work

1. Fit rear wheel.
2. Tighten axle nut on drive shaft (if it was removed).

Tighten axle nut securing drive shaft to wheel hub: --> Tightening torque: 460 Nm (340 ftlb.)
