Information:

Vehicle Type:
Cayenne S/Cayenne GTS/Cayenne Turbo
Concerns:
Sealing rings for intake socket in the coolant regulator housing.
Information:
1 - Removing and installing the coolant regulator housing.
2 - Leaks around the intake socket.
Situation 1:
When carrying out work on the coolant regulator housing that involves removing the intake socket (-arrow A-), the previously used assembly grease
000.043.204.68 must no longer be used for the two sealing rings when installing the intake socket.
Situation 2:
The reason for this may be that too much assembly grease was used for the two X-shaped sealing rings when fitting the intake socket. As a result, the
sealing rings can become deformed when the intake socket is installed (-arrow A-) and this can cause leaks.
If a complaint is received, replace the sealing rings.
